Takarazuka

Takarazuka is famous for its Grand Theater. It is also known as the "city of opera". Situated northwest of Osaka, it is outside of typical urban tension, but still easily accessible. Therefore Takarazuka is known for its quiet and luxury residential areas.

Playing Site: Sorio Hall

The 1st Japan Go Congress will take place in the Takarazuka Sorio Hall. Usually used for theater, the Sorio Hall offers a grand hall and several multi-purpose rooms. It is an ideal location for hosting large Go tournaments and other events.

Accommodation

Daikin Dormitory

The dormitory offers budget accommodation in Japanese style (Washitsu) rooms for 2-4 people. The price also includes breakfast.

Important: The curfew is 10:30pm. You cannot leave or come back to the dormitory after this time.

Takarazuka Inn Hotel

One of the cheaper hotels in the area.
Note that we only got 5 single rooms for the Go congress!
